Evaluation of thyroid nodules is covered by insurance companies.
Radiofrequency Ablation of thyroid nodules saves the patient and the entire healthcare system a considerable amount of money.
As of January, 2025, two new CPT codes for percutaneous Radiofrequency Ablation of Thyroid Nodules have been adopted. Although the assignment of specific CPT® codes represents acceptance of thyroid RFA as a procedural payment for the providing physician in an outpatient practice. CellFX does not have a recognized CPT code.
TNTC is out of network for all insurance providers. Currently, Dr. Harding is performing RFA through Arizona Advanced Surgeons.
